Enabling Secure
Communication for
3WXM or Web
Manager
To enable secure communication between 3WXM or Web Manager and a
WX switch, install a server certificate on the WX switch. (See “Installing a
Certificate” on page 47.)
For Web Manager, you also need to enable Transport Layer Security (TLS)
on the Web browser. (See “Enabling TLS on a Web Browser and Logging
In to Web View” on page 55.)
Figure 8 shows an example of a WX switch prepared for 3WXM with
certificate authority (CA) certificates.
