Using Access Control Lists for Security 365
Mapping an ACL to a Virtual Port
To map an ACL to a virtual port:
1 In the ACL Map Setup page, click New.
2 Select New ACL VPort Map. The Create ACL VPort Map dialog box
appears.
3 In the Direction list, select In to filter incoming packets or Out to filter
outgoing packets.
4 In the Tag Value box, specify the 802.1Q tag value that identifies a virtual
port in a VLAN.
The tag value can be a number from 1 to 4095. The default value is 1.
Make sure that you do not specify duplicate mappings that specify the
same port and tag value.
5 In the port list, select the port to which you want to map the ACL.
You cannot map an ACL to a MAP port or a wired authentication port.
6 Click Finish to save the mapping. The Create ACL wizard reappears.
7 Click Finish to close the Create ACL wizard.
