4.2. After saving the two coordinates, Magazine selection and the Approach the slide slider are activated. In the Magazine selection image,
select the magazine you want to approach and, on the slider, select the slide to navigate there the Gripper. (For example, in the picture in
chapter 4.1, slide E10 19 is selected.) You can send the Arm to the selected position by clicking the Approach the slide button in front of the
slider. The software calculates where each slide should be positioned based on the settings. DON'T YET NAVIGATE THE ARM!
4.3. The Sensor pos X value defines the center of the current magazine column. When the laser sensing the edge of the slide scans the entire
column, it must illuminate the center of the prism strip during the whole scanning. This coordinate is used by the system at initialization to
detect slides after starting up. To adjust this coordinate, we use two P1000 Gripper positioning slides. One slide is placed in the middle
magazine of the column to be set and the other one is placed in the Gripper
Click the Sensor pos X button. Close the Gripper to a single-wide slide and insert the adjustment slide manually. Navigate it to the slide in the
magazine as illustrated below. The two bisecting lines must be aligned! Click on the side panel to set this value. Make this adjustment for
each column! Navigate the Gripper back to Z minimum and remove the slide both from the Gripper and the magazine.
