USER INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these instructions in conjunction with the appropriate user
instructions for all other personal protective equipment worn in
combination with this garment.
Marking (internal label):
Each coverall is identified by means of an interior label.
This label indicates the type of protection afforded along with other
information:
1. Supplier - 3M;
2. Identification of the model - 3M 4530;
3. This product has been shown to meet the Basic Safety Requirements
under art. 10 and 11B of the European Community Directive
89/686/EEC and is thus CE marked. The product was examined at the
design stage by SGS, United Kingdom Ltd - Weston-Super-Mare,
BS22 6WA, United Kingdom. Notified body no. 0120;
4. The “Open book” indicates that the wearer must read the instructions
for use;
5. European standards define the pictograms that must be used on the
labels to enable the user to determine whether a product is suitable for
a given application.
The standards are:
- Standard prEN13034: 1997: Limited protective performance
Type 6: Against liquid chemicals (splashproof);
- Standard prEN13982-1: 2000: Limited protective performance
Type 5: Against hazardous dry particles (dustproof);
6. - Standard EN 533:1997 index 1/0:
Limited protective clothing against flame and heat;
- Standard EN1149-1: 1995: Protective clothing
