Troubleshooting
The warming unit software routinely checks unusual operating conditions. If such a condition occurs, the system may trigger a fault condition and alarm. The warming unit can be
reset by disconnecting the warming unit from the main power source and allowing 30-60seconds for the system to reset. If the fault code condition reoccurs, disconnect again
and wait 5minutes for the system to reset. If the fault condition reoccurs upon connection to the main power source, the warming unit may have a hard-fault or permanent error.
If the fault does not reoccur upon connection to the main power source, the warming unit may have a cautionaryfault.
Fault Code Fault Condition Possible Cause Troubleshooting
01 Control sensor output
ishigh
1. Sensor boardfailure.
2. Control boardfailure.
3. Internal wire harness failure.
1. Check for moisture onsensor.
2. Perform the 43C test in the System Test option of the Diagnostic Menu.
Verify the end of hose temperature is 43°C ± 3°C using the Model
22110temperature test unit and calibrated thermocouplemeter.
02 Control sensor measures ≥
47°C for 30seconds
1. Control boardfailure.
2. AC board failure(TRIAC).
3. Sensor boardfailure.
4. Internal wire harness failure.
1. Perform Operating Temperaturecalibration.
2. Measure the hose end temperature using the Model 22110temperature
test unit and calibrated thermocouple meter while running in Ambient
mode. The measured temperature should be ±3°C of the ambient
roomtemperature.
03 Monitor sensor output
ishigh
1. Sensor boardfailure.
2. Control boardfailure.
3. Internal wire harness failure.
1. Check for moisture onsensor.
2. Perform the 43C test in the System Check option of the Diagnostic
Menu. Verify the end of hose temperature is 43°C ± 3°C using the Model
22110temperature test unit and calibrated thermocouplemeter.
04 Software detects an
over-temperature
circuitcutout
1. Control boardfailure.
2. Sensor boardfailure.
50 Software detects any button
pressed for 5seconds.
1. Useraction.
2. User interface circuit board failure.
1. Reset microprocessor by disconnecting the warming unit from the main
power source and allowing 30-60seconds for the system toreset.
51 The blower is running at ≤
2000RPM for 1minute, or
there is no output to the
control board for 3seconds
1. Blowerfailure.
2. Control boardfailure.
3. Internal wire harness failure.
1. Test blower using the System Info screen in Diagnosticmode.
52 Watchdog timer failed 1. Control board failure. 1. Reset microprocessor by disconnecting the warming unit from the main
power source and allowing 30-60seconds for the system toreset.
70 The control sensor measures
the temperature to be +3°C
greater than the set point for
3minutes.
1. Control boardfailure.
2. Air flow occlusion.
1. Check hose forobstructions.
2. Check the air intake on the bottom of the unit forobstructions.
3. Check for blockedfilter.
4. Test all 3heater wattages using the System Test screen in the
DiagnosticMenu.
71 The control sensor measures
the temperature to be -3°C
less than the set point for
3minutes.
1. Air flowocclusion.
2. Heaterfailure.
3. Control boardfailure.
4. Internal wire harness failure.
1. Check for hoseobstructions.
2. Check the air intake on the bottom of the unit forobstructions.
3. Check for blockedfilter.
4. Test all 3heater wattages using the System Test screen in Diagnosticmode.
72 The outlet temperature
does not increase at
expectedrate
1. Air flowocclusion.
2. Heaterfailure.
3. Control boardfailure.
4. Internal wire harness failure.
1. Check for hoseobstructions.
2. Check the air intake on the bottom of the unit forobstructions.
3. Check for blockedfilter.
4. Test all 3heater wattages using the System Test screen in Diagnosticmode.
73 Control and monitor sensors
differ by more than 3°C for
30seconds.
1. Sensor boardfailure.
2. Internal wire harnessfailure.
3. Control board failure.
1. Check for moisture onsensor.
2. Perform the 43C test in the System Check option of the Diagnostic
Menu. Verify the end of hose temperature is 43°C ± 3°C using the Model
22110temperature test unit and calibrated thermocouplemeter.
