Function Description
The Sigrid Wireless Doorbell functions as a wireless alert system for visitors. When the push button transmitter is pressed, it sends a wireless signal to the receiver, which then plays a selected ringtone and, in some models, illuminates a lamp. The system is designed for easy installation and use, with options for multiple transmitters and receivers.

Usage Features
Installation:
The system offers two installation methods for the transmitter:
- Double-sided adhesive tape: Recommended for a simple and quick installation. Clean the flat surface where the transmitter is to be mounted, then peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and attach it to the underside of the transmitter. Peel off the other side and press the transmitter firmly onto the wall or door frame for 10 seconds.
- Screws/plugs (optional installation method): Prepare a drill, Phillips screwdriver, and slotted screwdriver. Mark out two mounting holes. Drill two holes on the markings and insert the two expansion screws supplied with the package. Screw on the transmitter's bracket or base.
For the receiver, it is important to test the range of the doorbell first before installing it. For the receiver: In order for the receiver to work, simply plug it into a standard wall socket in the room.
Pairing Transmitters and Receivers:
The system supports pairing multiple transmitters with one or more receivers.
- Adjust the volume: Press the volume button on the receiver to switch between high and low volume.
- Set the ringtone: There are 58 different ringtones to choose from. Press the forward or back button to select your favorite signal. The receiver plays the selected ringtone.
- Synchronize the new ringtone: Follow the pairing steps (2) - (3) below to synchronize the new ringtone. The new ringtone is set for the last synchronized transmitter.
- Pair a transmitter with a receiver:
- Select your favorite ringtone before pairing.
- Set the receiver using method (i) or method (ii) until a ding-dong signal is heard and the light starts flashing to confirm pairing mode.
- Simultaneously press the volume button and forward buttons on the receiver for 5 seconds.
- Press and hold the volume control button on the receiver for 5 seconds.
- Press the transmitter button to send a signal to the receiver. Once pairing (ringtone tone) has succeeded, the receiver plays the selected ringtone automatically.
- Comments:
- Pairing mode closes automatically after pairing is complete.
- Pairing mode lasts for 5 seconds.
- Pairing of two or more transmitters: Pairing mode can be used only for one transmitter at a time. For two or more transmitters, follow the pairing steps (1) to (3) again to pair several transmitters, one by one.
- Resetting: Press the forward button for 5 seconds to reset the default settings on the receiver. When the receiver sounds ding-dong and the light flashes, the reset is complete and the default settings apply: It returns to the 1st music selection and no transmitter is paired with the receiver.

Maintenance Features
Troubleshooting:
- The receiver does not sound:
- Check the doorbell battery and replace it if necessary.
- The plug on the receiver is loose.
- The receiver may be out of range of the doorbell.
- The receiver may not have been paired with the doorbell.
- Make sure the volume control is not at the lowest level.
- Limited range:
- Metal structures, as well as door frames made of uPVC, reduce the range of the product. Avoid installing the transmitter or receiver close to metal structures.
- Other equipment may cause radio interference that affects your doorbell.
- Walls and ceilings reduce range.
- Low batteries reduce the range. Change the battery every 12 to 18 months.
Battery Replacement:
- Transmitter: The transmitter can be installed in 2 different ways. If the battery is low, the range of the transmitter will be reduced. Replace the CR2032 battery when needed.
- Receiver: For battery-powered receivers, replace the 3 AAA batteries when they are low.
General Maintenance:
- It is not advisable to install the transmitter outdoors without any protection. The plastic materials can age prematurely.
- It is not advisable to install the transmitter on metal surfaces as the material can block the RF signals between the transmitter and the receiver. However, if this is the only option, it is recommended to use the included adhesive pad instead of the included screws.
