4.2.1 The Route’s Routing Functions
The route is allocated the following outgoing routing functions:
Routing an outgoing call to one or more trunk groups
Restricting the number of calls outgoing simultaneously
Polling an external digit barring
Deleting the exchange access prefix
Adding a prefix to the call number (where required)
Specifying numbering plan identifier NPI
Specifying how many digits need to be dialled before a call is set up
4.2.2 Routing an Outgoing Call to a Trunk Group
Up to 8 trunk groups can be entered for each route ("Trunk group" setting).
The system will first try to seize the network interfaces of the trunk group that was
entered last. If these interfaces do not come first, it will then attempt to seize the
network interfaces of the second trunk group, etc.
