Part 2 Routing elements 231
Note:
There is little point in using "CDE if busy" together with the destination
combinations "Subscriber and user group, busy" and "Subscriber and
KT line, busy".
Application Example of an Overflow
Implementing an overflow from a busy user group (e.g. Purchasing group) to
another user group (e.g. Customer Service group).

4.4.2 Routing Functions for Incoming Calls
Call distribution is allocated the following incoming routing functions:
Routing a call to a destination, depending on the position of the allocated
switching group (see "Call destination", page 227).
Routing a call to an alternative destination if the original destination is either
busy or if the call goes unanswered (see "Alternative Destinations", page 229).
Restricting the number of calls incoming simultaneously on each call distribu-
tion element ("Incoming connections" setting) As soon as this limit is
exceeded, any subsequent caller will obtain busy, provided no alternative des-
tination "CDE if busy" has been defined.
