Unless otherwise specified, information on the system terminals Office 35 also
includes Office 35IP; Office 45 also includes Office 45pro; and Office 135 also
includes Office 135pro.
Terminology
The following terms are used:

Term Usage
Internal subscribers An internal subscriber is connected locally to the system.
External subscriber An external subscriber is located in the public network (outside the private network).
PISN Subscriber A PISN subscriber is connected to another node (PINX) of the private network (PISN:
Private Integrated Services Network). Subscriber of a virtual PINX.
Subscriber A 1. Subscriber in a feature scenario (the person who sets up a call for example)
Subscriber B 2. Subscriber in a feature scenario (the person who answers subscriber A's call
for example).
Subscriber C 3. Subscriber in a feature scenario (enquiry call between subscriber B and
subscriber C for example)
Service Function offered by the network provider and carried out in the public network, in
particular an ISDN supplementary service.
Feature Function provided by the system and carried out locally in the PBX.
