5 Call Routing
This chapter deals on the one hand with the interaction between routing ele-
ments with internal, incoming and outgoing traffic. On the other, it deals with
topics that are clearly attributable to one particular type of traffic. For instances it
also looks at Least Cost Routing in connection with outgoing traffic.

5.1 Internal Traffic
5.1.1 Internal Destinations
Many internal destinations are allocated numbers in the internal numbering plan.
These destinations are dialled directly by dialling these numbers or the names allo-
cated to them.
The table below shows the internal destinations, their availability and their dialling
options.

Hard-wired subscribers: In the internal numbering plan this is the "internal subscrib-
ers" category
• Subscribers on AD2 interfaces Selectable using number and name selection

cordless subscribers: In the internal numbering plan this is the category
"internal subscribers"
