Archive Device Information.
The device and volume information provided in this aspect is described in Table 9.
Overriding Volume Backup There are certain situations when a
volume may need to be marked as
backed up, even though the volume has
not been backed up.
Activating/Deactivating an Archive Device Device must be active to perform
archive operations. MO devices must be
deactivated to change platters.
