2.2 Scope of Delivery
Before the drive system can be commissioned properly it is necessary
to inspect all system components carefully to make sure that all
components ordered have been delivered properly and that there are
no transportation damages.
Normally all delivered components have been insured during
transportation and if there are damages they can be claimed back from
the insurance company. If the inspection indicates a shortage, damage
or evidence of any damage, it must be reported to the carrier's
representative and to ABB and / or ABB representative. Any damage
during transportation or installation must be photographed and
reported to the manufacturer.
Note: The inspection of transportation damages must be done before
the installation of the drive, immediately after the components have
arrived on site. Before starting the commissioning work, try to find out
if any damages have been reported earlier.
Check if there are any transportation damages in the delivered
components.
Check if the ACS 6000 User’s Manual has been delivered together
with the drive and that it includes the description of all relevant options.
Check that the scope of delivery is in condition and that there are no
missing parts or components.
