Note: The incoming cables must not touch the terminals of any other
phase. A minimum sparking distance of 40 mm must be maintained
between each cable and the terminals of any other phase.
3.3.7 Control Cables
The installation of the control cables on cable trays or in channels must
be checked. Power cables and control cables must not be located on
the same cable trays. A minimum distance between these cables is 30
cm.
Make sure that the cable entry and termination is done as required.
Special caution needs to be taken for the following:
Shield grounding of encoders
Wiring of MV-cables on insulated trays
Bending radius of fiber optics
Refer to the ACS 6000 User’s Manual, Appendix D – Electrical
Drawings.
Example of communication interface (in Figure 3-1 AMC3 controller is
connected to AF100 fieldbus using an CI810B type adapter) and
GRAY encoder cable installation inside ACS 6000 cabinet.
