Sync loss function
When the Synchronization lost (Sync loss) function is activated (31.201), it monitors
the actual cos phi value of the permanent magnet motor (1.25). The synchronization
lost condition occurs:
if the actual cos phi value is below the minimum level (31.206)
or
if the drop of consecutive cos phi samples is equal to or larger than the
user-defined drop limit (31.205).
When the function is active (31.201), it supervises the sync loss constantly. The
sync loss detection operates only when the drive output frequency is above the
minimum frequency limit (31.202).
The function supervises and detects the sync loss condition when permanent
magnet motor losses synchronization in the following conditions:
Submersible motor control (SMC) mode is active (99.4 Motor control mode)
Permanent magnet motor type is defined as the motor type (99.3 Motor type)
During production state only (when drive is following the ESP program
reference).
When supervision detects sync loss conditions, the function triggers a warning or
fault (31.201).
