Fit the measuring bracket to the wrist. Use

Fit the magnetic foot of the dial indicator
on the measuring bracket.

Place the tip of the dial indicator on the
milled surface of the measuring tool shaft,
as shown in the figure.

Verify that axis 5 is put in calibration posi-
tion.

Set the dial indicator to zero.9

Apply load F with a dynamometer, as
shown in the figure.
• IRB 1600ID-4/1.5: F = 40N
• IRB 1660ID-X/1.55: F = 30N
Remove the load and make a note of the
value from the dynamometer, as value a1.
