Draining - alternative method
Use this procedure to drain the oil from the gearbox, as an alternative method.
If this method is used, oil must be sucked out of the gearbox using an oil dispenser.

Move the upper arm of the robot to a position
where the oil plug, gearbox is pointing at the
floor.

DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply
• hydraulic pressure supply
• air pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot working
area.

CAUTION
The gearbox can contain an excess of pressure
that can be hazardous. Open the oil plug care-
fully in order to let out the excess pressure.
