3.5.2 Changing the oil, axis 1 gearbox on floor mounted robots
Floor mounted or suspended robot
Depending on whether the robot is floor mounted or suspended, the method of
changing the oil differs.
This section describes how to change the axis-1 gearbox oil in a floor mounted
robot. If the robot is suspended, see Changing the oil, axis-1 gearbox on suspended
robots on page 160.
Location of oil plugs
The axis 1 gearbox is located between the frame and base of the robot.
The oil plugs are shown in the figure.
