Inspection, cable harness 1-6
The procedure below details how to inspect the cable harness of axes 1-4.
Action Note
1.
DANGER!
Turn off all electric power, hydraulic and
pneumatic pressure supplies to the robot!
For Foundry Prime robots: Do not turn off the
air pressure to motors and SMB.
2. Make an overall visual inspection of the cable
harness, in order to detect wear and damage.
3. Check the connectors at the division point and
at the base.
Shown in the figure Location of cable
harness, axes 1-6 on page 158.
4.
note
If the manipulator is used in a Foundry Prime
application, check the cables for cracks in
insulation.
5. Check that velcro straps and the mounting
plate are properly attached to the frame. Also
check the cabling, leading into the lower arm.
Make sure it is attached by the straps and not
damaged.
Location is shown in the figure Location
of cable harness, axes 1-6 on page 158.
A certain wear of the hose at the
entrance to the lower arm is natural.
6. Replace the cable harness if wear, cracks or
damage is detected.
Detailed in section Location of cable
harness, axes 1-6 on page 158.
