4.5.2. Replacement of brake release unit

5. Refit the complete brake release unit
(including brake release unit and bracket) to
the SMB recess with the two attachment
screws.
6. Refit the SMB cover with its attachment
screws.
The push button guard must not be mounted
on the cover before the check described below
is made!
Shown in the figure Location of brake
release unit on page 277!

WARNING!
Before continuing any service work, please
observe the safety information in section
WARNING - The brake release buttons may
be jammed after service work on page 39!
8. Refit the push button guardto the SMB cover. Shown in the figure Location of brake
release unit on page 277.
9. If the battery has been disconnected the
revolution counter must be updated.

section Updating revolution counters on
page 370.
