String fuse replacement (-SX model)
If string fuses need to be replaced:
• Examine the PV array and string cabling for damage.
• Make sure that the sizing of the PV array and string cabling is correct.
• Use a continuity checker to measure both fuses of each string input.
• Make sure that the nominal rating of the fuses is correct.
• Record the date and position of changed fuses. If the same fuse blows again,
further troubleshooting is required.
• Monitor the inverter to make sure that it operates correctly.
WARNING! Completely isolate the unit from power sources before you open
the covers. The DC switch does not isolate the fuses from the PV arrays.
To replace a string fuse:
1. Completely isolate the unit from external power sources. Refer to Inverter isolation on
page 16.
2. Remove the first cover. Refer to First cover on
page 50.
3. Remove the DC input cover. Refer to DC input
cover on page 51.
4. Remove the applicable string fuse(s).
5. Install the new string fuse(s).

page 123.
6. Attach the DC input cover.
7. Attach the first cover.
8. Connect the unit. If necessary, refer to Electrical installation on page 49.
