34 Installation requirements
The supporting structure
and fastenings must
support the weight of the
unit and must be non-
flammable.
The installation space
must be cooled
adequately for all of the
equipment inside. Refer to
Technical data on page
123 and Required
installation clearances on
page 132.
The installation area must
be accessible in
emergencies and for
maintenance.
The installation area must
be out of reach of children
and pets.
The unit can produce
noise or vibration which
can disturb people.
Several inverters in the
same space increases the
noise. Consider this when
you select the installation
area and materials.
When you select the
installation area, make
sure that all labels on the
inverter are always visible.
Do not install the unit in
direct sunlight. Power
derating occurs if the
internal temperature of the
unit is too high.
Protect the unit from ice
and snow.
Install the inverter
vertically or tilted 10…90
degrees to the rear.
Do not install the inverter
tilted to the front or upside
down.
Prevent exposure to dust
and harmful gases such
as ammonia.
