Insulation test
Before the grid connection, the inverter measures the impedance between the DC
terminals and ground. If the impedance is less than the preset value, the inverter
shows a fault message and it does not connect to the grid.
 Inverter
The inverter is tested for insulation between the main circuit and the chassis
(1,500 V
DC
) at the factory. Do not perform any voltage tolerance or insulation
resistance tests on any part of the inverter.
 AC output cable
Before you connect the AC output cable, make sure that it obeys the local
regulations.
 PV generator
Make sure that the insulation of the PV generator obeys the local regulations and the
manufacturer instructions. Fully disconnect the PV generator from the inverter during
the insulation test.
