Connection procedure
WARNING! Do not do electrical work on the unit unless you are a qualified
electrician. Obey the instructions in Chapter Safety on page 11. Failure to obey
the safety instructions can cause injury or death, electromagnetic interference and
equipment malfunction.
1. Connect the AC cabling. Refer to AC
cabling connection on page 57.
2. If it is necessary, install a protective earth
(PE) connection with a cable lug to the
auxiliary PE point. Refer to Power cable
requirements on page 37.
3. Connect the DC cables to the inverter:
• For screw terminals, refer to DC cabling
connection for standard and -S models
on page 59.
• For PV quick connectors, refer to DC cabling connection for the -SX model
page 60.
4. Install the control cables. Refer to Control cable connections on page 62 and
Control cable glands on page 65.
5. Install the option modules. Refer to Option module installation on page 66.
6. Make sure that all wiring is correct, safe and secure.
