Remote monitoring setup
To set up the remote monitoring interface:

Set parameters:
To change parameter values:
1. Do the changes to a parameter.
2. Select the Comm control parameter.
3. Select Refresh settings.
Parameter Values Description
Protocol enable Enables/disables the embedded
fieldbus interface and selects the
protocol to use.
None No communication.
Modbus RTU (default) EFB is enabled and it uses the
Modbus RTU protocol.
Node address 1…247 (default: 1) Node address of the inverter. All
devices must have different
addresses.
Baud rate Sets the data transfer rate.
Autodetect The inverter automatically sets the
transfer rate after monitoring traffic.
Note: Set the Parity parameter
before you enable autodetection.
9.6 kbps, 19.2 kbps,
38.4 kbps, 57.6 kbps,
76.8 kbps, 115.2 kbps
The default value is 19.2 kbps.
Parity Sets the number of data bits, the
type of the parity bit and the number
of stop bits.
8 NONE 1 (default) 8 data bits, no parity bit, 1 stop bit
8 NONE 2 8 data bits, no parity bit, 2 stop bits
8 EVEN 1 8 data bits, even parity bit, 1 stop bit
8 ODD 1 8 data bits, odd parity bit, 1 stop bit
