7.3.3 Importing SCL files to PCM600
The IED engineering tool must be able to receive an SCD file or an ICD file as an import
to receive the engineered communication extensions, for example, for the different IEDs.
To be able to import an SCD file at station level, the option IED 61850 configuration
engineering mode enabled has to be cleared in PCM600.
1. On the Tools menu, select Options and click IEC 61850 Configuration.
2. Clear the option IED 61850 configuration engineering mode enabled and click
OK.
