6.2 HMI Event Filtering
HMI Event Filtering is a tool that helps in configuring the visibility of the events
shown on the IED's LHMI and WHMI. This tool does not modify the actual events on
the protocol level.
The event visibility is modified in the event tree view. The events in the tree view are
structured in the same way as the functions in the PCM600 plant structure.

6.2.1 Starting HMI Event Filtering
• Start HMI Event Filtering in one of the alternative ways.
• Right-click an IED and select HMI Event Filtering.
• On the Tools menu, click HMI Event Filtering.
