6. Click Export to generate the SCD file.
A progress window shows the ongoing export of the station.
7.3.1.2 Exporting ICD or CID files
1. Select the IED in the Plant Structure view.
2. Right-click the IED and select Export.
3. In the Export dialog box, from the Save as type list, select the type of file to
export.
• Configured IED description (.cid) for the IEC 61850 structure as needed
for the IED at runtime
• IED capability description (.icd) for the IEC 61850 structure

4. Click Save.
5. In the SCL Export Options dialog box, select the export options.
