Section 4 Setting up a project
4.1 Creating a new project
1. Start PCM600.
2. To see the projects that are available in the PCM databases, click File and select
Open/Manage Project on the menu bar.
3. In the Open/Manage Project window, click Projects on my computer.
4. Click New Project.
If there are projects or object tools open, a confirmation dialog box opens.

5. In the Create New Project dialog box, fill in the project name and optional
description.
• In the Project Name box, type a unique name for the project.
• In the Description box, type a description of the project.
