b. Type the number of XMVs attached to the serial port. This number must match the one
configured in the MOXA module Max Connection field in the Operation Modes configuration
menu.
c. Type the MOXA’s IP address and the serial port’s Local TCP port into Port. Use the following
format: IP address/Local TCP port. For example, “10.127.185.172/4001”.
d. Select TCP/IP from the Port Type drop down list.
11. Click Send. The navigation tree displays the new name for the XMV interface and the number
of supported XMVs. In this example, only one XMV displays for a single device connection (XMV
1).

12. Configure the XMV:
