4.2 Preparations for maintenance
The following should be done before maintenance is started:
1. Switch the circuit-breaker to the open position.
2. Isolate and earth.
3. Switch off the motor current.
4. Perform a Close-Open operation so that the spring battery in the operating
mechanism is discharged.
5. Switch off the control voltage and, if necessary, also the heater voltage.
