Lifting Guidelines for Open Style Auto-
matic Transfer Switch
1. ABB Zenith Open style ATS units are
mounted onto a wooden pallet using re-
quired brackets.
2. Electrical Panel and Auxiliary Panels are
mounted onto the wooden pallet using
separate brackets.
3. Controller and other electronic compo-
nents are mounted inside a separate card-
board box on the wooden pallet.
4. Refer to the dimensional drawing for
provisions to select the properly-rated
lifting devices.
5. While lifting the unit using lifting
chains, it is recommended to maintain
a minimum of a 45° angle as shown in
Fig. 9.2.
6. ABB Zenith Automatic Transfer Switch
units should be lifted using propely-rated
lifting devices.
