3.5 Sensor underfill
Underfills can be used to fill the gap between the sensor package and PCB. The sensor underfill
material should be chosen to have as low dielectric constant and loss tangent as possible. Dielectric
constant determines the reflectivity of the medium and loss tangent indicates the dissipation effect of
the material and both are frequency dependent.
