Dirty optics. Clean the measurement optics
(Chapter 5). The test strip was in the meter
for too long (longer than 90 seconds) after
testing. When you perform the next test,
eject the test strip immediately.
If you see this error message frequently
or it is permanent, please contact the
ACCU-CHEK Customer Care service
center at 1-800-440-3638.
The blood volume was insufficient. Repeat
the test with a new test strip.
The test strip was moved during testing.
Repeat the test with a new test strip.

Blood or control solution was applied too
early. Always wait for the test strip symbol
and flashing drop of blood to appear in the
display before applying blood or control
solution.
or
There is electromagnetic interference.
Repeat the test. If you get the same
message, move away from sources of
interference and repeat the test.
The code key was removed after applying
blood, is defective, or is not inserted
correctly. Remove the code key and
reinsert it.
The test strip was moved during testing or
the blood volume is not sufficient. Repeat
the test with a new test strip.
