L Record Statistics
and Settings
1. Check and
record the
cumulative
total found in the
"Statistics" menu.
2.
Write down
all
drink
settings.
All
drink setting must be
re-entered after the
new
software
is
installed.
ll. Connect
to
the Model
2000
1. Open the
grounds
bin door
and remove the electrical enclosure
cover.
2.
Plug the 9
pin
D-Sub
end of the
communications
cable into ttre RS 232
Serial
Port on the lap top computer.
Plug the
other end
into
Communication Port
(the
modular style
receptacle)
on the front
of the CPU card. The cornnection
is located
just
bellow
the front
panel
cable connection.
3. Push the
grounds bin door
closed
being careful
not to
pirnch
the
communications cable.
4.
Open the
Acorto HyperTerminal
which
you
have
pre-set
to comrnunicate
with the Acorto machine.
This
should
be a shortcut
on
your
desktop if
you
followed the above directions:
