What to do if I cannot communicate with Acromag I/O Systems?

If you cannot establish communication with your Acromag I/O Systems module, consider these potential causes: * **Power:** Verify that the module is powered ON and that the green RUN LED is illuminated. * **Cable Type:** Ensure you are using the correct type of Ethernet cable. A crossover cable is needed when connecting directly to a PC or another MDI device. A direct cable should be used when connecting to an Ethernet switch or hub. Note that even with the Link LED ON, the cable could still be defective. * **IP Address:** Confirm that the IP address of both the module and your PC are compatible and on the same network. Try the default module address of 128.1.1.100, and use a different address for your PC's NIC.
