Start screen

Start of display.
Auto Automatic detection of start of display depending on the channels
detected. Start and end of displays are set automatically.
Full Start of display at 1525 nm (for a 5071 WDM module).
Manual Start of display manually chosen.
End screen
1
Auto Automatic detection of end of display.
Full End of display at 1570 nm (for a 5071 WDM module).
Manual End of display manually chosen.
Tilt and Slope gain
No / Yes Validates measurement and display of max. difference of gain (in
dB) and slope of gain (in dB by nm or by THz) above the trace.
Remarks in table
No / Yes Allows display and entry of notes in table ("Table remarks" on
page 7-11).
Grid
Four different types of grid are available in the Display window of the menu:
Off No grid.
Convent. The grid coincides with the graduations. The interval therefore
varies according to the zoom level.
ITU Press the <Set grid> key to access the ITU grid choices. Two keys
allow to have the ITU grid either only between the A and B cursors
or on the whole band.
Three lines in the menu allows the followings choices:
- ITU reference channel,
- interval (space) between channels: 50, 100 or 200 GHz.
- number of channels: 1 to 100.
Manual Press the <Set grid> key to access a choice of the following grid
elements:
- first channel
- interval between channels:
1. The channels which are out of the screen limits are not in the result table.
