INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
MAKE: BMW
MODEL: M3/M4 (F80/F82)
YEAR: 2015
ENGINE: L6-3.0L (tt) S55
2-1/2” Axle-Back Exhaust
49-36324-C (Carbon Fiber Tips)
49-36324-P (Polished Tips)
Step 12: Install left mid pipe using provided 2-1/2” clamp sleeve.
Step 13: Install right mid pipe using provided 2-1/2” clamp sleeve.
Step 14: Install aFe tail pipe to aFe mid pipe using (x2) band clamps to tighten.
Step 15: Install the rubber hanger mounts back ontothe chassis using the originalnuts and tighten.
Step 16: Install the exhaust mid pipe cross brace but do not tighten.
Step 17: Now align the entire system and when satisfied, tighten all aFe 2-1/2” band clamps, the (x4) nuts securing the front mid pipes to
the catalytic converters and the exhaust mid pipe cross brace.
Step 18: Re-check all your work.
Step 19: Remove vehicle off jack stands. Your installation is now
complete.
Caution: Allow time for your vehicle to cool down prior to installation. When working on or under your vehicle proceed with caution. Exhaust
systems reach high temperatures and may cause serious burns. Wear protective safety equipment; eye goggles and gloves to ensure a safe
NOTES: aFe recommends that the tailpipe be at least 1/2”-1” away from any body panels to avoid heat related body damage. Tighten and secure.
