4.22 Tensioning the Roller Chains (only RPC 130 F)
The correct chain tension can decrease the wear of the chains, chain wheels and roller bearings.
Examine and adjust the chain tension after 500 bales.
CAUTION: Damage
New chains give after a short time of operation. Examine and adjust the chain tension
after a short quantity of time.
Rotor drive chain
Tension the chain of the rotor drive until the
distance between the washers is approximately 70
mm.

Roller drive chains
Tension the chains of the roller drives until the
spring plates are aligned.
