Concepts of 2D-LC
In 2D-LC the following concepts exist:
• Comprehensive 2D-LC (LC×LC)
In LC×LC, the total eluent from the first dimension is injected on to the column
in the second dimension.
• Heart-cutting 2D-LC (LC-LC)
In LC-LC only parts of the eluent from the first dimension are injected on to
the column in the second dimension.
