9 Calibration setup with more than 9
measuring locations
! For calibration with more than 9 measuring points, a precision measuring
device with a corresponding number of ALMEMO
®
input sockets is required.
The procedure with the ALMEMO
®
500 precision measuring device
is explained as an example.
The ALMEMO
®
500 is not equipped with an air pressure sensor,
therefore an air pressure sensor is required.
1. Attach each of the temperature sensors to a corner point of a cubic grid that
spans the useful volume.
Ensure that the maximum distance between two adjacent measuring
points does not exceed 1m.
2. Lay the sensor cables so that they lead out of the climatic chamber.
3.
Connect the ALMEMO
®
connectors to the ALMEMO
®
measuring device.
Pay attention to the measuring point assignment.
If programming of the sensors for climatic chamber calibration has
been ordered, some helpful tools for measuring point assignment are
included in the extent of delivery:
The overview of the measuring point assignment provides you with
additional information on the assignment of the measuring points in
connection with the measuring location, the measured variable and
the various measuring and calculation channels.
There is a sticker on each sensor
connector indicating the ALMEMO
®
input socket to which the sensor is to
be connected.
And in the ALMEMO
®
measuring device, the measuring location in the
useful volume is indicated in the comment of the respective measuring
point.
