From a test chamber volume greater than 2000 liters, the sensors must be arranged
in a cubic grid, whereby two adjacent measuring locations may be a maximum of
one meter apart. In this case, more than nine sensors are required.
The sensors are connected to an ALMEMO
®
measuring device, which stores and
displays the measured values. A precision measuring device with a correspondingly
large number of ALMEMO
®
input sockets is required to calibrate a test chamber
volume of over 2000 liters.
To determine the influence of radiation on the temperature measurement, two
additional temperature sensors with surfaces with different radiation coefficients
(Ɛ<0.15 and Ɛ>0.6) (e.g. stainless steel and PTFE) are used.
Before starting the calibration, it must be ensured that no systematic changes have
been measured with all temperature sensors for 30 minutes, especially for climatic
chambers without a circulation system.
With the AMR WinControl software, the measured values can be displayed, saved
and documented during the measurement and evaluated after the measurement.
