5 Set up measuring system
1. Mount each of the temperature sensors to a corner point of a cube for
positioning temperature sensors that you have purchased from Ahlborn
Mess- und Regelungstechnik GmbH and position the cube in the climatic
chamber so that it covers the intended useful volume.
Or
1. Mount each of the temperature sensors to a corner point of a cuboid volume
of your choice.
Ensure that the temperature sensors span the intended useful
volume. Also make sure that the maximum distance between two
neighboring measuring points does not exceed 1m. If you want to
calibrate a useful volume of more than 1m
3
, you will need more than
eight temperature sensors.
2. If you want to calibrate the relative humidity, position and mount the
psychrometer in the center of the spanned useful volume.
3. Lay the sensor cables so that they lead out of the climatic chamber.
4. Connect the ALMEMO
®
connectors to the ALMEMO
®
measuring device. Pay
attention to the measuring point assignment.
If programming of the sensors for climatic chamber calibration has
been ordered, some helpful resources for measuring point assignment
are included in the extent of delivery:
The overview of the measuring point assignment provides you with
additional information on the assignment of the measuring points in
connection with the measuring location, the measured variable and
the various measuring and calculation channels.
There is a sticker on each sensor
connector indicating the ALMEMO
®
input socket to which the sensor is to
be connected.
And in the ALMEMO
®
measuring device, the measuring location in the
useful volume is indicated in the comment of the respective measuring
point.
