Overview

This document describes the BT17 Wireless Audio Adapter, a multifunctional audio adapter designed for home appliances. It functions as both a wireless transmitter (TX mode) and a wireless receiver (RX mode), and also offers a bypass mode (non-Bluetooth).

Function Description

The BT17 Wireless Audio Adapter serves as a versatile solution for integrating audio devices into a wireless setup. In TX (Transmitter) mode, it allows you to wirelessly stream audio from sources like TVs, DVD players, or other audio devices to Bluetooth-enabled headphones or speakers. In RX (Receiver) mode, it enables you to receive audio wirelessly from Bluetooth-enabled devices such as phones or tablets and output it to your home audio system or wired speakers. The Bypass mode allows for a direct wired connection, bypassing Bluetooth functionality, which is useful when Bluetooth is not desired or available.

Important Technical Specifications

The device supports both optical and AUX/RCA audio connections for input and output, providing flexibility for various audio setups. It is powered via a DC 5V USB cable. The optical mode supports a sampling rate under 48 kHz. The device features a display that shows the current mode (TX, RX, Bypass), connection status (searching, connecting), and paired device information.

Maintenance Features

Troubleshooting:

  1. Problems with Bluetooth Connection:
    • Confirm your Bluetooth device supports the wireless profiles listed in the specifications.
    • Ensure BT17 and your Bluetooth device are next to each other or within 1 meter.
    • Make sure both BT17 and your Bluetooth device are in pairing mode.
    • If the wireless pairing between BT17 and your mobile phone reboots, confirm the use of the correct input power. The machine supports 5V DC power supply. Do not use fast charging or poor quality miscellaneous power input, as this may lead to undervoltage or overcurrent overprotection.
  2. No Music from Audio System after Connection:
    • Output defaults to AUX output priority. If optical fiber output is required, ensure there is no external AUX cable connected to the AUX output port.
    • In optical mode, "BT17" supports devices with a sampling rate under 48kHz.
    • You need to make sure the TV audio format is set to PCM (Fig-1) and TV sound out as "External Speakers" (Fig-2).
