Pre-Installation Notes

Installation Responsibility and Liability

Customer is responsible for product operation and installation. Air-Zenith accepts no liability for damage or injury from use or misuse.

Safety Precautions During Installation

Disconnect battery, wear eye/hand protection. Do not disassemble or modify the product.

Fuse and Wiring Recommendations

Use a 70A ANL fuse close to the battery positive post. 6AWG wire for runs >10ft, 8AWG for <10ft.

Mounting Location Considerations

Choose a cool location away from heat sources to prevent overheating.

Installation Guidelines

Compressor Placement and Mounting

Locate close to battery. Mount securely using provided hardware. Use thread sealant.

Electrical Connections and Wiring

Connect battery power to relay socket red wire. Connect pressure switch to ignition and relay socket yellow wire.

Air Hose and Tank Connection

Connect supplied hose to check valve and air tank using 1/2" NPT fitting.

Grounding the Compressor

Ensure a clean ground connection, ideally to the battery negative post.

Operation Guidelines

Battery Discharge Prevention

Run the vehicle engine while operating the compressor to prevent battery drain.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Compressor is oil-free; do not lubricate piston/cylinder. Keep clean and free of obstructions.

Leak Checks and Hose Integrity

Periodically check electrical components and air line connections for leaks.

Thermal Protection and Overheating

Compressor gets hot. Do not touch immediately after use. Auto-reset thermal protector may stop operation.

Warranty and Returns

Two Years Limited Warranty

Covers defects in material/workmanship for two years in US/Canada. Excludes misuse or abuse.

Merchandise Return Process

Requires Return Goods Authorization (RGA) and Proof of Purchase. Contact Air-Zenith for RGA number.
