minimize generator load. The default setting is Normally Open (NO), which can be changed to Normally Closed
(NC) in the “Alarms” menu under the Control Config Menu.
AL*07 (Generator Run) will display if this input is triggered.
Optional: Enable the multiple compressors during generator run in the “Generator Run” section of the Unit
Config menu.
3.5.4 DC Fail-Over Input
This alarm is only applicable when the DC Fail-Over is installed. This alarm input informs the controller that
power is only available through the DC inverter, so the controller will only run the supply fan and outdoor air
damper.
3.5.5 Electrical Connection to Controller Box
Important. The ethernet cable used must be wired according to ANSI/TIA-568-B.2 standard.
Communication errors may occur if the cable is not wired correctly.
Follow these steps to complete the connections:
1. Open the controller box.
2. Connect the power cable from power plant to the controller breaker (QF1) located at the bottom right of
the box.
3. (Optional, ASMUC.6.AC Only) If using 240VAC to power the controller, follow instruction below to adjust
the settings for AL1 and AL2 on the power protector (FV).
There are 2 voltage dials on the monitor, AL1 for overvolt and AL2 for undervolt. The label on the dial
indicate percentage of 300V for alarm trigger. For example, 30% means the alarm will trigger at 90V. It
Is recommended to set the monitor to 15V above and below in coming power, although this can be
adjusted depending on site
There are also 2 alarm LED on the left hand side. If Indicator AL1 is lit, the voltage is above the
overvolt limit. If alarm Indicator AL2 is lit, the voltage is below the undervolt limit.
