The Legacy PRO functions as a personal vaporizer, heating dry herbs or wax/concentrates to a desired temperature for inhalation. It utilizes both conduction and convection heating methods to efficiently vaporize materials. The device is powered by a removable 3200 mAh battery, offering flexibility for extended use. It supports both USB-C charging and wireless charging, providing multiple options for powering up the device.
To begin using the Legacy PRO, users should first charge the device using either a USB-C cable or by placing it on a wireless charging surface. For dry herbs, it is recommended to grind them evenly before lightly packing the heating chamber. The device is turned ON or OFF by pressing the POWER button three times. Temperature adjustment is managed through dedicated UP/DOWN buttons, and a vibration feedback indicates when the desired temperature has been reached and the unit is ready for use. Users can then inhale through the ceramic mouthpiece.
A safety shut-off timer is integrated into the device, automatically turning the unit off after 3 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery and prevent overheating. This timer can be adjusted to 3, 5, or 10 minutes by pressing and holding the POWER and UP buttons simultaneously.
For vaping wax or concentrates, a specific wax pad is provided. This pad is placed into the heating chamber, and the concentrate or wax is then applied to the pad. After closing the hatch, the device is turned on with three clicks of the POWER button, similar to dry herb use. Recommended temperatures for wax mode are above 420° Fahrenheit or 215° Celsius.
The Legacy PRO also features an "On Demand" function, which can be activated by pressing and holding the UP and DOWN buttons together. In this mode, the unit only heats up while the POWER button is being pressed, offering precise control over the heating process. A safety shut-off sensor in On Demand Mode will turn the unit off after 60 seconds of no movement detected.
For micro-dosing, the device includes a micro dosing disk that can be rotated to adjust the volume of the chamber, allowing users to customize their dosage. The device's display provides visual feedback on settings and status.
Proper maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of the Legacy PRO. After each use, it is important to clean the chamber, but only after the unit has cooled down completely, as it can be hot immediately after usage. A brush, included with the device, should be used to clean the chamber.
For more thorough cleaning, especially of residue or excess material, a Q-Tip soaked in alcohol can be used. The mouthpiece and air path should also be cleaned with a Q-Tip until all residue is removed. The exterior of the unit can be gently cleaned with an alcohol (ISO) prep pad.
The device features a removable glass airpath and an airpath filter, which can be accessed for cleaning. The filter screen is also removable for easy cleaning. These components are designed for user-friendly disassembly and reassembly, facilitating comprehensive cleaning.
