ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT-5/6
16. Record/Playback Frequency Response Characteristics Adjustment (DECK2)
Conditions
O Measuring equipment: Milli-volt meter
Audio signal generator
(Low frequency oscillator)
Attenuator
Test tape: TTA-602 (NORMAL)
Test point: TP8 (L-ch), TP9 (R-ch)
Input point: AUX (1 kHz/8 kHz)
Adjustment point: SFR451 (L-ch), SFR452 (R-ch)
1) Connect a milli-voltmeter CH1 to TP8 (L-ch) and CH2 to TP9 (R-ch).
2) Connect an oscillator output to an attenuator. Connect an attenuator output to AUX of the NSX-RV15.
3) Insert the test tape (TTA-602) into DECK2 and record the 1 kHz signal from AUX.
4) Adjust the attenuator so that TP8 and TP9 output level become 10 mV.
5) Record the 1 kHz signal and 8 kHz signal alternately.
6) Adjust SFR451 (L-ch) and SFR452 (R-ch) so that the 8 kHz playback output level is within 0 ± 1dB with respect to the 1 kHz output level that
is the reference output.
17. Record/Playback Sensitivity Check (DECK2)
Conditions
O Measuring equipment: Same as item 16.
Test tape: TTA-602 (NORMAL)
Test point: TP8 (L-ch), TP9 (R-ch)
Input point: AUX (1 kHz)
1) Insert the test tape (TTA-602) into DECK2 and record the 1 kHz signal from AUX.
2) Adjust the attenuator so that TP8 and TP9 output level become 100 mV.
3) Play back the 1 kHz portion and check that the 1 kHz playback output level is within 0 dB ± 2.5dB with respect to the record mode output
level.
