Why won't my Alamo Freezer compressor stop running?

There are several reasons why your Alamo Freezer's compressor might be running constantly. It could be due to the 'Fast Freeze' switch being on (if your model has one); try turning it off. Other potential causes include the temperature control being set too low, storing too much food at once, thick frost buildup (in which case, defrost the freezer), too frequent door openings, the freezer being too close to the wall, proximity to a heat source or direct sunlight, or refrigerating tubes being connected. Adjust the temperature control, reduce the amount of food stored, defrost the freezer, reduce how often you open the door, move the freezer away from the wall and any heat sources, and ensure the refrigerating tubes are separated.
