Information A VC-12 member of the VC-12-4v Virtual Concatenation Group (VCG), which
is used to transport Ethernet traffic between the LTU and the NTU modem over
multiple parallel SHDSL links, has failed.
Note that the
VC-12 virtual concatenated group member fail alarm is
only applicable to SHDSL links interconnecting the LTU and NTU modems of
type SDSL-NT10ETH.

Cause One of the following failures has been detected for the respective VC-12:
• VC12VcLOM
• VC12VcSQM
• VC12VcMND
Actions Clear the alarm condition (VC12VcLOM, VC12VcSQM, VC12VcMND) that
caused the VC12VcVCFAIL alarm.
Please refer to the corresponding alarm descriptions.
Note(s) VC-12-4v VCGs are used to transport Ethernet traffic of up to approximately 8
Mbit/s capacity between the LTU and NTU modems of type SDSL-NT10ETH
over multiple SHDSL links in parallel.
