Ethernet WAN port mapping
The following table shows the mapping of WAN ports to termination points (TP) for
X4IP and LKA4 port units. The LKA4 port unit belongs to the former Metropolis
®
products. With this mapping, interworking between these products is possible. The
mapping is fixed and cannot be altered. X4IP are 4-port units, whereas LKA4 is an
8-port unit. WAN ports 5 through 8 at LKA4 utilize identical mapping as respective
WAN ports 1 trough 4. In case the units in service do not use the same termination
points adaptation via the LO cross connect is required.
